We recently revealed the design of Samsung's upcoming object location tracker, which is expected to launch next month. Ahead of that release, it appears Google is preparing to launch its own object tracker for the first time.
The design of Google's first Pixel Tag was recently revealed by 9To5Google, while its pricing and availability has been leaked by Dealabs. If the leaked image is accurate, the device features a compact, pill-shaped design similar to the Galaxy SmartTag 2. However, it appears to lack a built-in key ring hole or lanyard eyelet, meaning buyers will need to spend extra money on a protective case to attach it to items.

According to reports, the Pixel Tag will cost €34.99 in Europe and is scheduled to launch next week on August 12. It will compete directly with Apple's AirTag and Samsung's upcoming Galaxy SmartTag 3, both of which feature Bluetooth and Ultra-Wideband (UWB) connectivity. The Galaxy SmartTag 3 features a squircle design.
While it remains unclear whether the Pixel Tag includes UWB support, it will almost certainly feature Bluetooth integration with Google's Find Hub network.
