Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra owners got an excellent gift at the start of this week when Samsung finally released the stable version of Android 14 and One UI 6 for the Galaxy S23 series. Samsung's work isn't done, however. The company still has dozens of smartphones that are in line for the One UI 6 update, and it also has to update its first-party apps with One UI 6 support, such as Good Lock.

Samsung's fantastic customization suite has already received official One UI 6 support for some of its apps, and now two more have joined the list. Samsung has released updates for the HomeUp and Pentastic Good Lock apps on the Galaxy Store, adding support for the newest version of One UI.

For Home Up, there's a catch. The changelog mentions “partial opening of One UI 6.0 support”, and that is accurate as Home Up doesn't actually open on One UI 6 right now and will need more updates for that to change. It will also gain a few new features and lose some existing ones, as seen in the screenshot below.

If you're using Good Lock, you should be able to download the new updates for Home Up and Pentastic from within Good Lock. You can also update them from the Galaxy Store's Updates section. And if you haven't already done so, you should give Good Lock a whirl if you love customizing and tinkering with your phone's software. Good Lock's availability was limited to select markets for many years, but Samsung recently expanded availability to more countries.
