The Google Calendar extension for Gemini is now rolling out widely. As a report from 9To5Google suggests, you might not find the Google Calendar extension in the Gemini app, but you can summon it using @Google Calendar while chatting with Gemini. You can also use it on Gemini's website. You can use it to create, delete, or edit events.
You can use the Google Calendar extension to create an event at a specific date and time. You can add the event's name, description, location, and reminder. You can reschedule events or rename them. You can ask Gemini about your upcoming event. Apparently, you can't edit the description, location, or other details about an event.
Hopefully, the upcoming version of Bixby, which is said to be powered by large language models (LLMs), will be able to do the same in Samsung's stock apps.
