It can be your PC's second screen, and it doesn't even need a cable.

The Galaxy Z TriFold is nothing short of a marvel. It can be as compact as your phone or as large as your tablet, depending on what you need and when you need it. Whether you want to use it for entertainment or productivity, it will be up to the task, thanks to its 10-inch OLED display.

When Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Z TriFold, it announced that the phone can run DeX on its own display, just like any other Galaxy tablet. But what the company didn't reveal that the device can also double up as your laptop's or PC's secondary display. With the Second Screen functionality, you can connect the Galaxy Z TriFold to your Windows laptop or PC wirelessly via Miracast wireless mirroring.

To use the Second Screen feature, head over to Settings > Connected devices > Second screen. Then, on your Windows computer, navigate to System > Settings > Display and tap Connect to a wireless display. Alternatively, you can also press Windows + K on your keyboard to initiate the Cast menu.

You can install Samsung's Second Screen app on your Windows computer to unlock additional features for the secondary display functionality. You can adjust the aspect ratio, auto connection, and power synchronization options. This feature helps improve your productivity, as you can either move image or video previews during media editing workflows to the Galaxy Z TriFold's display or open a document or webpage on it for referencing.

The Galaxy Z TriFold also supports the Extended Mode for casting the phone’s screen to an external monitor or a TV. We wish Samsung brought the Pixel Tablet's ability to cast media wirelessly from a Galaxy phone to the Galaxy Z TriFold and Galaxy Tab devices via a tap-to-cast action.
