The Galaxy Z Fold 8 has a lot going for it. The wider aspect ratio in particular is what will likely have a lot of customers opening up their wallets for this device.
That's not all that makes the device worth of your hard-earned money, though. It also happens to be the lightest Galaxy Z Fold phone that Samsung has ever made.
Samsung has revealed the official dimensions and weight details of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 today. When folded, the device measures 81.9 x 123.9 x 9.7mm and when unfolded, it measures 161.4 x 123.9 x 4.5mm.

There's a lot packed inside its frame. From the Flex Titanium-reinforced foldable display to the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chipset, from the dual-camera setup at the back to the individual selfie cameras on both the cover and the foldable display, all of it is present inside a device that weighs just 201g.
It's no surprise, then, that Samsung points out this is the lightest Galaxy Z Fold phone it has ever made. It even includes a 4,800mAh battery to provide ample power for everything, with support for 45W charging.
The company has also confirmed the Galaxy Z Fold 8 price today. It starts at $1,899 for the 12GB + 256GB storage model. Pre-orders are open today with the release set for August 7. The device is available in Graphite, Cream, and Lavender colors.
