Samsung is expected to launch its next lineup of flagship smartphones with foldable displays, which is said to offer three models — Galaxy Z Fold 8 (Wide), Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, and Galaxy Z Flip 8 — on July 22, 2026. Now, we have information about when the brand may start shipping them or make them available to purchase.
A Latvian e-commerce platform, PriceBee, has made a page for the Galaxy Z Fold 8, and the listing says that the phone will be announced on July 22, 2026, and released on August 5, 2026 (via SammyGuru). The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and the Galaxy Z Flip 8 may also go on sale on the same day, at least in Europe.
According to previous reports about the Galaxy Z Fold 8 series and the Galaxy Z Flip 8, Samsung will launch them at a higher price than their predecessors, due to rising memory chip prices. However, the exact prices are still unknown.
The leaks about the upcoming phones’ upgrades claim that the Galaxy Z Fold 8 lineup may offer sharper displays, newer cameras, and more powerful processors, whereas the Galaxy Z Flip 8 may make do with only an upgraded processor.
