Earlier this month, Samsung released an update for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 that offered three things. First, it brought the September 2025 security patch, which fixed many security issues. Second, it upgraded Now Bar with support for Google Finance to show you information about stock prices without unlocking the device. Third, it made DeX let you add widgets on the home screen and control keyboard and mouse settings.
Back then, Samsung made the update available only in Korea. Well, the tech giant has now started rolling it out in Asian and European countries as well, including India (via Tarun Vats). The update is 790.78MB in size and carries firmware F966BXXU4AYI1, as you can see in the screenshot below.
In One UI, the Now Bar settings don’t show Google Finance. So, this feature could be country-specific. To use this feature, you need to add a stock to Google Finance for the Now Bar to show changes to its prices. According to Samsung, “big price changes will appear on your Now Bar at the end of the trading day.”
To update your Galaxy Z Fold 7 to the latest firmware, go to Settings » Software update » Download and install. You can also download it from our database and install it manually using Samsung's Odin tool. However, we recommend you stick with the OTA update method as it is safer than the manual installation process.
