We have been hearing about the Galaxy Z Fold 7 even before Samsung launched the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition. However, none of the leaks revealed how it would look. Well, that’s changing today.

We finally have renders of the Galaxy Z Fold 7.

Galaxy Z Fold 7 design revealed

Android Headlines, in collaboration with OnLeaks, has published renders of the Galaxy Z Fold 7. As you can see in the images above and below, the upcoming foldable phone has the same design philosophy as the current models. However, that's where the similarities end, as it offers several improvements.

Bigger cover and inner displays

According to the publication, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will have a 6.5-inch outer display and an 8.2-inch inner display, making them larger not only the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the Galaxy Z Fold SE but also the biggest inner display on any foldable phone. That's just the tip of the iceberg, though.

Much thinner than current models

The leaks claim that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be only 4.5mm thick when opened and 9.5mm when folded, making it much thinner than Samsung's current foldable phones. This puts it in the same league as the thinnest foldable phones on the market, which include the Oppo Find N5 and Honor Magic V3.

Watch its design in the video below.

Cover display could be wider

The phone measures 158.4 x 143.1 x 4.5mm. Considering that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be wider than the Galaxy Z Fold SE, it may have a wider screen. However, there's still no information on the aspect ratio. Unfortunately, we still don't have any information on the colors Samsung will launch it in.

Leaked Galaxy Z Fold 7 specifications

One of the main complaints people have about foldable phones is the crease on their display. Samsung will reportedly improve that aspect with the Galaxy Z Fold 7. Reportedly, the crease on its display will be almost invisible.

The upcoming phone is expected to use a cut-down version of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite found in the Galaxy S25 series. It will most likely ship with Android 15-based One UI 7.

The story continues after our Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition video.

Sadly, it may feature the same 4,400mAh battery as the current models, making it the smallest among the rivals. That being said, let's not forget that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 lasts longer than most of its rivals that have bigger batteries, thanks to Samsung's optimizations.

That, coupled with the more efficient chip and display panel on the Galaxy Z Fold 7, should make it last even longer.
