Samsung is seeing great demand for the Galaxy Z Fold 7. In a rare first, even though it's usually the other way around, the latest Z Fold model is outselling the new Z Flip. It shows that customers are voting with their wallets in favor of Samsung's most expensive phone.
Such is the demand for the top-of-the-line foldable that Samsung has actually run out of stock in some places across one of its most important markets.
Samsung India revealed today that it's seeing “unprecedented demand” for the Galaxy Z Fold 7. The phone is now out of stock in “select markets” across the country. It further added that necessary steps are being taken at its manufacturing plant in Noida to meet this immense demand.
India is one of Samsung's top markets. The company enjoys a dominant market share and it's only being further strengthened by the new foldables. The company had previously revealed that it had received a record 210,000 pre-orders for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 in just 48 hours in India.
The company is seeing high demand for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 through both retail and online sales channels. It bodes well for the future of foldables in the country, as many customers who may have bought their first foldable now are likely to stick with the form factor in the future, thus allowing Samsung to compound the gains it has achieved with this latest series.
