Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6
Samsung released the stable version of One UI 9.0 (Android 17) for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the Galaxy Z Flip 6 first in its home country, South Korea, and then in the US. Now the brand has started rolling out the updates in more countries, with India being among the first countries to get it.
The updates are currently live for devices enrolled in the beta program. The one for the book-style foldable is 468.43MB in size and carries firmware version F956BXXU4EZIH (via Tarun Vats). The company should make these updates available for units not enrolled in the beta program very soon.
You can check the availability of the update and get it by going to Settings > Software update > Check for updates. One UI 9.0 brings many upgrades over One UI 8.5. Some of the biggest changes include more customizations for Quick Panel, enhancements for Samsung DeX and Samsung Notes, a location privacy indicator, and new AI features.
You can check out some of these changes in our video below.
