Earlier this month, Samsung launched its new flagship smartphone with a clamshell foldable display, the Galaxy Z Flip 7. It brings significant upgrades over its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Flip 6. With that, it is arguably the best phone in its segment, offering fantastic design, display, camera, performance, battery, and durability. Well, the phone is so good that even Apple is promoting it.
On Weibo, a social media platform in China, Apple’s official ‘Support‘ account put out a post with a promotional video of Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip 7, highlighting the phone’s features (via @UniverseIce). As you might expect, the Cupertino-based tech giant, or the firm managing Apple’s social media accounts in the region, posted it accidentally, as they took it down within a few moments.
It is possible that the firm managing Apple’s social media platforms in the region also manages Samsung’s social media accounts there, which might have caused the massive blunder. It is also possible that an Apple employee enraged with the company posted it to pay back the brand.
Either way, it is amusing to see a brand promoting a product of its rival. Whoever posted it is likely going to get quite an earful. If you too are impressed with the Galaxy Z Flip 7, like Apple is, and planning to get the phone, click on the ‘Buy‘ button above to get the best deal on the device.
