Samsung’s latest smartphones with clamshell foldable displays, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, are getting new software updates. They bring the February 2026 security patch, which addresses 37 security issues.

Samsung is currently rolling out these updates in South Korea, its home country. The updates for Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE carry firmware versions F766NKSS8AZB2 and F761NKSS8AZB2, respectively (via Samsung Community).

Samsung should start offering the updates in other countries in the next few days. To check if the brand has made them available in your country and to get it, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install.

At the Galaxy Unpacked event tomorrow, Samsung is expected to debut the latest stable version of Android customisation for Galaxy smartphones, One UI 8.5, with the Galaxy S26 series. The brand is said to start rolling out the update to eligible devices in the next few days. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 and the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE are eligible to get it.
