Samsung has launched the Galaxy Z Flip 5 Limited Edition Box in India. The special edition of the smartphone comes bundled with the Flipsuit Case. Inside the box, you'll also get an interactive card which will come printed with an image of one of the members of the BTS band, and you can use this card with the Flipsuit Case.
The Flipsuit Case comes with two interactive cards, one with a blue-colored design and another with a pink-colored design. These cards are NFC-enabled. Once you place any of the two interactive cards in the Flipsuit Case, the smartphone will recognize it and apply a matching wallpaper to the Galaxy Z Flip 5’s cover display. Similarly, if you insert the interactive card with the image of a BTS member, the smartphone will recognize it and apply the same image as wallpaper on the cover display.
Samsung hasn’t clearly mentioned how much the Galaxy Z Flip 5 Limited Edition Box costs in India. However, going by a video shared by the company, it looks like if you purchase the Galaxy Z Flip 5 from Samsung’s website, you will get the Flipsuit Case for INR 1,999 (around $25) instead of its actual price of INR 3,999 (around $50), and if you purchase the phone and the case together, you will get the Limited Edition Box at no extra cost, which will contain the interactive card with the image of any of the members of the BTS band.
The Galaxy Z Flip 5 costs INR 99,999 (around $1,200) for the 256GB storage variant and INR 1,09,999 (around $1,325) for the 512GB storage model. Samsung is offering an INR 7,000 (around $84) instant discount on the smartphone if you make the payment using credit and debit cards from select banks, which brings down the effective price of the smartphone to INR 92,999 (around $1,120). There’s also an INR 7,000 (around $84) Upgrade Bonus available on the device.
It's worth mentioning that the Limited Edition Box is not available to purchase on Samsung's website yet.
