Exactly how it will all pan out remains to be seen. Some things we know about the Galaxy Z Flip 5, others we do not. By now, we're fairly sure that the cover screen has a folder-like shape and can host optimized Google apps. But no leaks so far have revealed exactly how it all comes together and what kind of UI elements and transition animations Samsung's prepared.
And amid Samsung launching an offensive against leaks, one Twitter user (@Vetrox360) took the liberty to use the information that has surfaced so far as a basis for a concept design and animation. It paints a picture of what the Galaxy Z Flip 5 cover screen UI could look like. And specifically, how the Samsung Clock app would show up on the cover screen and then be minimized.
Keep in mind this is just a fan-made render that may give us a glimpse into the Galaxy Z Flip 5 user experience, but it's not a leak, so things may look very different in the final product. And speaking of the final product, Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Z Flip 5 in South Korea on July 27.
According to leaks and rumors, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 should feature a 3.4-inch Super AMOLED cover display protected by Gorilla Glass Victus+. It supposedly has a resolution of 720 x 748, which leads to a pixel density of around 305ppi. As for the foldable screen, it should boast a 6.7-inch diagonal and a resolution of 2640 x 1080.
