Galaxy Z Flip 3, Fold 3 get March 2023 security update in the US and other countries

Samsung is swiftly rolling out the March 2023 security update to its high-end and mid-range smartphones. The Galaxy Z Flip 3 and the Galaxy Z Fold 3 are the latest Samsung phones getting the new security update in the US and other countries globally. In the US, both carrier-locked and unlocked models and getting updated.

In Asia, Latin America, and some European countries, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 is getting the March 2023 security update with firmware version F711BXXS4EWB5, while the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is getting the update with firmware version F926BXXS3EWB5. The update fixes more than 50 security vulnerabilities that have been discovered.

In the US, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 is getting updated with firmware version F711USQS4FWC1 for the carrier-locked models on Metro PCS and T-Mobile networks. Other carriers might release the update within the next few days. The unlocked version of the phone is getting the March 2023 update with firmware version F711U1UES3FWB3, and it is available on all carrier networks.

The Galaxy Z Fold 3's carrier-locked version is getting updated with firmware version F926USQS3FWC1 on Metro PCS and T-Mobile's networks in the US. The unlocked version of the phone is getting the new software as well, and it bumps up the firmware version to F926U1UES2FWB3.

You can update your phone to the latest software by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. You can also download the appropriate firmware from our firmware database and flash it manually.
