    Galaxy Z Flip 3, Z Fold 3 get June 2023 security update in the US

    A few days ago, Samsung released the June 2023 security update to the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and the Galaxy Z Fold 4 in the US. Today, the company has released the same update to the carrier-locked and unlocked variants of the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and the Galaxy Z Fold 3 in the country.

    Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Z Fold 3 get June 2023 security update in the US

    The new security update for the carrier-locked version of the Galaxy Z Flip 3 comes with firmware version F711USQS4FWE5. The unlocked version of the phone is getting the update with firmware version F711U1UES4FWE1. The carrier-locked variant of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is getting the new update with firmware version F926USQS3FWE5, while the unlocked version is getting the new security update with firmware version F926U1UES3FWE1.

    The update is available on almost all carrier networks for unlocked models of the phones, while some carriers have released the update for the carrier-locked models of the two devices.

    If you have a Galaxy Z Flip 3 or the Galaxy Z Fold 3 in the US, you can download the new update. You can do that by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. You can also download the appropriate firmware file from our database and flash it manually.
