Samsung is rolling out various updates to all three variants of the Galaxy XCover Pro worldwide. The international version of the Galaxy XCover Pro received the Android 13 update a couple of days ago with the November 2022 security patch and is now getting the December 2022 security patch.

The latest updates for the US carrier-unlocked (SM-G715U1) and the Canadian (SM-G715W) variants of the Galaxy XCover Pro come with firmware versions G715U1UEUFDVKA and G715WVLUAEVK9, respectively. Both the updates bring Android 13, One UI 5.0, and the December 2022 security patch. The international variant of the device is getting the update with firmware version G715FNXXSAEVL2. It brings the December 2022 security patch that fixes 93 security vulnerabilities.

So, irrespective of the variant, all Galaxy XCover Pro users have received an update. You can check for the update manually by heading to Settings » Software updates and clicking on Download and install. If the device is still not showing the update and you are eager to get your hands on it, you can download the latest firmware from our firmware database and install it manually.

The Galaxy XCover Pro was launched in 2020 with Android 10 (One UI 2.0). Samsung promised to offer three major Android OS updates to the smartphone. So, Android 13 is its last major software update. Samsung will, however, keep pushing security updates to the phone for two more years. You can take a look at the new features of Android 13 and One UI 5.0 in our YouTube video below.
