Samsung says it built the Galaxy Watch Ultra with durability in mind, and it is the company's most capable wrist wearable to date. The Ultra smartwatch is powered by a new energy-efficient Exynos W1000 chip, has a brilliant 3,000 nits display, and was built to stand – even underwater, thanks to a 10ATM water-resistance rating.
All the new and improved health tracking capabilities — enabled by the redesigned BioActive Sensor — and hardware upgrades didn't come cheap. The Galaxy Watch Ultra aims high on all fronts, and that includes its launch price. Here's all you need to know.
If you're in the market for a new powerful smartwatch and find the Galaxy Watch Ultra appealing, know that you can pre-order it in most markets right now. And if you do, you will most likely get some extra goodies from Samsung for free. Bonuses can vary by market.
The pre-order window will stay open for two weeks until July 24, after which you will find the Galaxy Watch Ultra on store shelves, and you can buy it outright without any pre-order bonuses.
And now to the of the matter, which is pricing. The Galaxy Watch Ultra is the most powerful and versatile Samsung smartwatch to date, but it is also the most expensive. It starts at $649 in the USA, £599 in the UK, and €699 in most EU countries.

If the higher-than-usual price doesn't put you off and you want Samsung's best-of-the-best, you can pre-order the Galaxy Watch Ultra in Titanium Silver, Titanium Gray, or Titanium White. Color availability can differ by market.
Alternatively, you can check out the cheaper but still powerful Galaxy Watch 7. Hit the pre-order button below for details.
