The most striking design detail of Samsung's first Ultra-branded smartwatch lies in the rectangular footprint and circular display. Fans are reminded of the old Gear Sport, but thankfully, the Galaxy Watch Ultra is up with the times and looks a lot more modern, industrial, sporty, and stylish at the same time.
Aside from giving the Ultra smartwatch a bold exterior, Samsung also designed brand-new wristbands and picked bold colors. In fact, few people might know this since Samsung hasn't bragged about it, but in markets where all the wristband and color options are available, there are more than two dozen combinations to choose from.
You might not know this if you're buying the Galaxy Watch Ultra in markets where not every color and wristband color combination is on sale — such as the USA — but Samsung's new smartwatch offers enough color and wristband options to create 30 unique combinations.
In markets like the USA, your options are somewhat limited to 21 combinations — still a respectable number. However, in markets like the UK, for example, you can mix and match to achieve no fewer than 30 options. Colors and wristbands include:
With 30 color and wristband combinations available, the Galaxy Watch Ultra boasts plenty of customization options, even if it isn't available through the now-discontinued Bespoke Studio for smartwatches.
One detail to be aware of is that no matter which color you pick for the watch, the Quick Button to the side will always have an orange element. There is a reason for that, but we may dive into it at a different time — no pun intended.
