Samsung has started rolling out the October 2026 security patch to its smartwatches, and the first model to get it is the Galaxy Watch 9. The latest security update fixes 62 issues present in the previous firmware, making the wearable more secure than before.
The Galaxy Watch 9 units in the brand's home country, South Korea, seem to be the first to get the October 2026 security patch. The update is 228.87MB in size and carries firmware version L350XXU1AZJ3 (via Kailash). This is the second software update for the watch so far.
Samsung should release the latest update for the smartwatch in other countries over the next few days. To check if the brand has made it available in your region and to get it, open the Galaxy Wearable app on your phone and go to Watch Settings > Watch software update > Check for updates.
Samsung launched the Galaxy Watch 9 with One UI 9 Watch and promised to offer five major OS upgrades and five years of security updates.
