Not the most colorful Galaxy Watches.

After many months of speculations and rumors, Samsung finally unveiled its new smartwatch lineup at Galaxy Unpacked 2025 in New York. And it's an exciting time to be a Galaxy Watch fan, for several reasons.
Among them is the fact that the base model has finally received a well-earned redesign. Furthermore, the Classic smartwatch formula, defined by the rotating physical bezel, is back. And then, to give smartwatch fans even more choices, Samsung re-released the Galaxy Watch Ultra for 2025 with a few minor improvements and a new color option.
Speaking of colors, each of the brand-new models is available in two color options, while the refreshed Galaxy Watch Ultra is available in four. Here they are.
Although not an entirely new design, the Galaxy Watch Ultra is technically the top-range model this year. It's the most expensive, and Samsung claims it is the best for outdoor performance.
Meanwhile, according to the company, the Galaxy Watch 8 offers “minimalistic essentials,” and the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic is defined by “timeless sophistication.”
For the most part, Samsung showed off the Galaxy Watch 8 with a color-matched silicon wrist strap and the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic with a black leather strap.
The 2025 Ultra model's hero color is the new Titanium Blue, of course. It is matched with a blue Marine wrist strap. Overall, it seems to complement the Blue Shadow color Samsung chose for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7.
As usual, additional wrist strap designs and colors will be available as optional accessories, sold separately. However, Samsung hasn't revealed much about those in its official press release. We will share more photos and details from Unpacked 2025 once we have them. Stay tuned for our review videos, and until then, check out our hands-on from Unpacked.
