The Galaxy Watch 5 Pro comes in a single 44mm size. It features a 1.36-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 450 x 450 pixels and a generous 590mAh battery under the hood. It's a significant improvement over the 361mAh battery employed by the 46mm Galaxy Watch 4 Classic model.
According to Samsung, this new 590mAh battery found inside the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro should allow the smartwatch to remain operational for up to 80 hours on a single charge. That's more than three days' worth of usage without having to get anywhere near the charging puck.
Speaking of which, the new battery also boasts faster charging of up to 10W, but it's unclear if the included charging puck can match this specification or if it's limited to a lower wattage.
Whatever the case may be, the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro is a beast when it comes to autonomy, and no other Galaxy smartwatch released in recent years — save for the original Galaxy Watch (2018) — gets even close to what the new Pro model can deliver.
Samsung customers can pre-order the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro today. The new wearable will hit the shelves and ship to buyers from August 26 onward.
