Samsung has been on a roll today. It has released the One UI 8.5 update to several Galaxy phones and tablets, and one of those devices is the Galaxy Tab S9 FE series. The two devices in the series have started getting the One UI 8.5 update in South Korea.
The One UI 8.5 update for the Galaxy Tab S9 FE has arrived in South Korea with firmware version X510XXUCEZE4. The Galaxy Tab S9 FE+'s update bears firmware version X610XXUCEZE4. The update has a download size of around 3GB and includes May 2026 security patch. It brings new and improved features to the tablets.
The update will be released in other countries and markets in the next few days.
If you have a Galaxy Tab S9 FE series tablet and live in South Korea, you should check for the new update on your device. You can do that by navigating to Settings > Software update and tapping Download and install. Once the update files are downloaded from Samsung's servers, tap the Install now button to start the installation process.
Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab S9 FE series with Android 13-based One UI 5.1 onboard. The devices received the One UI 6.1 update in the first half of 2024, the One UI 6.1.1 update in late 2024, the One UI 7.0 update in mid-2025, and the One UI 8.0 update in late 2025.
