Samsung has released the One UI 7.0 update for the Galaxy Tab S9 FE series. The update is now available in South Korea, which means it will be expanded in other countries within the next few days. So, if you are a Galaxy Tab S9 FE user, exciting days are ahead for you.
The Android 15-based One UI 7.0 update is rolling out to the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+. The update comes with firmware version X516NKOU7CYE1 for the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and X616NKOU7CYE1 for the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+. It is a 3.6GB update and includes the April 2025 security patch.
If you have a Galaxy Tab S9 FE series tablet and live in South Korea, you can now install the new update by heading over to Settings » Software update » Download and install.
This update brings several new features, a redesigned UI with fluid animations and transitions, new app icons, new widgets, and faster Gemini access to the mid-range tablets.
Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab S9 FE series in October 2023 with Android 13 onboard. A couple of months later, it received the Android 14-based One UI 6 update and the One UI 6.1.1 update in mid-2024. Now, it has received the Android 15 update. It will get two more major Android OS updates in the future.
