A new and unreleased firmware for Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra has been spotted on the brand’s server. It has version X926BXXU8EZF2 (via Fahad Ali Javed). Considering the company’s firmware version convention for Galaxy smartphones and tablets, it seems to have a new version of One UI.
At the moment, the tablet is running on One UI 8.5, which means that the newly spotted firmware most likely features the tech giant’s latest Android skin, One UI 9.0. The latest discovery suggests that Samsung has started testing the new software for the tablet, and its release is now one step closer.
Samsung unveiled One UI 9.0 last month. Back then, the brand also released its beta version for the Galaxy S26 series. The company is said to showcase its stable version next month with the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, and Galaxy Z Flip 8. The tech giant should then start rolling it out to older devices.
Based on Android 17, One UI 9.0 brings more customisation options for Quick Panel, new features for Samsung Notes and Game Booster, the ability to notify the user when an app is using location using an indicator in the status bar, improvements to Samsung DeX, new accessibility features, and much more.
