There's plenty of excitement around One UI 8 for Samsung's smartphones, but what about the company's tablets? Don't worry, Samsung is busy developing the next version of One UI for its tablets as well: the first internal One UI 8 test build has been spotted for the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra.
That's not all. The Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra has also been benchmarked running Android 16, making this a pretty big step forward in the update's development for Samsung's latest flagship tablet lineup.
Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra One UI 8 benchmark
What makes this notable is that the Galaxy Tab S10 lineup only received the One UI 7 (Android 15) update a month ago. But it's not unexpected: Samsung has made it clear that One UI 8 will arrive much sooner than One UI 7 or any previous version of One UI regardless of the device.
However, Samsung's push for an early release also makes it a little less probable that the Galaxy Tab S10 lineup, and most other devices, will be supported in the One UI 8 beta program. But that's just speculation for now, as Samsung has not said anything about the One UI 8 beta for devices other than the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra.
As always, we'll be sure to let you know when we get any new information, so stay tuned!
