Earlier today, it was revealed that Samsung has already started working on the Galaxy Tab S11 series and that it will use MediaTek's flagship chip. Now, it has been revealed that the South Korean firm is also making a mid-range Galaxy Tab S10 series tablet, and it could be called the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite.
Android Authority has found references to Samsung's upcoming mid-range tablet in a portion of code they received from a reliable source. As you can see below, the alleged code string mentions'GTS10Lite and GTS10WiFi, which are refrences to the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite's Wi-Fi-only and Wi-Fi + Cellular versions.
siop_gts10lite_s5e8835siop_gts10litewifi_s5e8835It also mentions S5E8835, which is Samsung's internal codename for the Exynos 1380 chip. It was used in mid-range devices like the Galaxy A35, Galaxy A54, Galaxy M35, Galaxy M54, Galaxy Tab S9 FE, and the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+.
That means the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite will be a lower-priced tablet compared to the Galaxy Tab S10 FE and the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ that were launched a few weeks ago. Samsung could launch the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite before the end of this year. It could have Android 16-based One UI 8.0 out of the box.
