A few months ago, a leak revealed that Samsung was developing a new mid-range tablet, the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite, and last month, the device was spotted on Geekbench, which revealed its processor, RAM, and operating system details. Now, it looks like the South Korean tech giant has started testing its software.
On X, @Alfaturk16 reports that they have spotted firmware for a device with model number SM-X406B on Samsung’s server. According to leaks and rumours, and the tech giant’s model number convention, it could be the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite. It suggests that the brand has completed developing the tablet’s hardware, is testing its software, and may launch the device soon.
According to previous reports, the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite will have the Exynos 1380 processor, 6GB RAM, and will ship with Android 15-based One UI 7.0. At the moment, there’s no concrete information about when Samsung will launch the tablet. A few rumours suggest that the company may launch it alongside the Galaxy Tab S11 series in the next couple of months.
Hopefully, more leaks about the device will pop up in the near future, giving us information about its display, cameras, battery capacity, and design. Subscribe to our channel on Telegram or WhatsApp for more such updates.
