Samsung has announced that the Galaxy Store will be unavailable on Galaxy smartphones, tablets, and smartwatches, and on the web, on 16 June 2025 from 01:00 AM GMT to 04:00 AM GMT. According to the brand, it is temporarily suspending the service for system maintenance.
On X, @OfficialAptivi broke the news by posting a screenshot of what looks like a notice in the Galaxy Store app. Considering that different sections of text in the image have different sizes and grammatical errors, it seems to have been translated from a language into English. As you might have guessed, Samsung hasn’t issued the notice in other regions yet, but it may do so soon.
It means that you will not be able to access the Galaxy Store and download and update apps from it on 16 June 2025 from 01:00 AM GMT to 04:00 AM GMT. In the notice, Samsung also says, “End time may change depending on progress.” It means that there is a chance that the app distribution platform may be down for an even longer time.
With that, it is best to head to the Galaxy Store now and download and update all the apps you want from it.
