Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S26 series next week. Just days before the launch of its new flagship phones, the company has released the 2026 version of its iconic “Over the Horizon” ringtone. It will be included on the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra.
Each year, Samsung gives the Over the Horizon ringtone a slightly different flavor. This year, the company has chosen the theme “A Soundtrack of the Earth,” which aims to capture the planet’s beauty and grandeur through orchestral melodies and to create a message of sustainability. The ringtone was recorded with a full orchestra and seeks to portray the harmonious connection between nature and technology.
You can watch the production of the new ringtone in the video below.
This new version was orchestrated by Los Angeles–based composer and pianist Eunike Tanzil. Samsung first noticed her work in February 2024 when she shared her own rendition of Over the Horizon on social media. The company has now collaborated with her to recreate the iconic ringtone for the Galaxy S26 series.
It was recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London, and The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra performed the piece. Producer and engineer Jonathan Allen mastered the audio in Dolby Atmos to create an immersive listening experience. A careful microphone placement was used to create a natural sense of space.
In 2024, Samsung used a traditional Korean orchestra for its version of Over the Horizon for the Galaxy S24. In 2025, the company adopted a big band jazz style for the Galaxy S25.
