Galaxy S25 Ultra might bring a big design change, and it’s for the better

Samsung's flagship smartphones are among the nicest phones to look at, and the company has created a design language that is instantly recognizable. Its Galaxy S Ultra phones have boxier designs and sharp corners, while non-Ultra devices have curved corners. However, the Galaxy S25 Ultra might not follow that pattern.

Galaxy S25 Ultra's design might not have sharp corners

According to tipster Ice Universe, the Galaxy S25 Ultra will not have sharp corners. This is in contrast to the Galaxy S24 Ultra, whose corners can dig into the user's palms and cause discomfort if the device is used without a case. If this information is correct, Samsung is moving in the right direction regarding ergonomics. However, it isn't clear if the entire corner is curved or if its edges are more rounded.

Whatever the case, it seems that Samsung is trying to remove the shortcomings of the Galaxy S24 Ultra with the Galaxy S25 Ultra. The device will be announced sometime early next year, and more information about the phone's design will likely be revealed by the end of this year.

You can watch the design of the Galaxy S24 Ultra more closely in our video below. The story continues after the video.

What else can you expect from Galaxy S25 Ultra?

It is rumored that Samsung will improve the cameras massively with its next flagship phone. According to some reports, the Galaxy S25 Ultra will feature a 200MP primary rear camera, a 50MP ultrawide camera, a 50MP telephoto camera (3x optical zoom), and a 50MP super telephoto camera (5x optical zoom). It will likely use the same 12MP front-facing camera seen on its predecessor.

Samsung could also use a 3nm processor for the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Most units could use the Exynos 2500 (tentative name) chip, while others could use Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor. It could also feature dust and water resistance, titanium side rails, stereo speakers, wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging.
