First, @evleaks raised an interesting point in one of his recent X posts. He issued a reminder that the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition was also rumored to be called Z Fold 6 Slim, but that never happened. Why would it be any different for the so-called Galaxy S25 Slim?
More importantly, the source shared another critical nugget of information: The Galaxy S25 Slim — or whatever it will be named in the end — won't be offered through US carriers.
“One thing I will say about this model, whatever it ends up being called: it will almost certainly not be offered through US carriers,” the source posted.

Whether this means the Galaxy S25 Slim won't be available in the USA at all is unclear. It could still be offered exclusively as an unlocked model with no carrier strings attached. Or it might be released in the USA later than other markets.
Interestingly, there is new evidence that Samsung is developing firmware for the Galaxy S25 Slim (again, tentative name) for markets including Europe, Asia, and the UAE. So far, US-based firmware appears to be missing, but that's not conclusive evidence of the S25 Slim missing in the USA entirely. Time will tell.
In regions where the Galaxy S25 Slim will be released, the phone will reportedly fit between the Galaxy S25+ and the Galaxy S25 Ultra in terms of both marketing and price.
Samsung will unveil the base, Plus, and Ultra Galaxy S25 variants next week. However, the fourth variant may be launched at a later date.
