After releasing a beta update a few weeks ago, Samsung has released the fifth One UI 8.0 beta update for the Galaxy S25 series. Even though it is the fourth beta update for countries like Germany, India, and the UK, it is the fifth beta update overall for phones in the Galaxy S25 series.
A new One UI 8.0 beta update is now available for the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and the Galaxy S25 Ultra. It is available in India, Germany, the UK, and the USA. It comes with firmware version ending with ZYH6 and it has a download size of around 1.78GB. It includes the August 2025 security patch as well.
This update brings lots of bug fixes, including the one that caused the moon to appear purple when captured at the 100x zoom level. It fixes bugs related to Wi-Fi hotspot, S Pen Air Command, lock screen clock size, overlapping Notifications and Quick Settings panels, Do Not Disturb Mode's resetting issue, and Now Brief's content disappearing.
The complete changelog of the new update is listed below.
To download this update on your compatible Galaxy S25 series device, head over to Settings » Software update and tap Download and install. Once the new firmware is downloaded completely, tap the Install now button. The phone will restart after a few minutes, and you can start using it.
