Yesterday, Samsung launched its new lineup of flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S25 series. At the event, the South Korean tech giant talked a lot about Gemini, as it enables a lot of functionalities on the new devices. In fact, the brand has equipped these phones with the ability to bring up Gemini when users press the power/side button.
While that sounds great, people could do a lot more with Google’s GenAI assistant on Galaxy S25 if they get the paid and more advanced version of it, Gemini Advanced. Well, if you are going to purchase the device, you are in luck, because Samsung is offering Gemini Advanced for free on the Galaxy S25. However, only for a limited period of time.
At the Galaxy Unpacked event yesterday, Samsung announced that people purchasing the Galaxy S25 series smartphones will be able to access Gemini Advanced, which costs $19.99 per month in the United States, for free for six months.
Check out our hands-on video of the Galaxy S25 Ultra below.
From what we can gather, the offer will be applied to the first Google account that you use on the phone. As the benefit will be applicable account-wide, you will be able to access Gemini Advanced for free on the web and iOS devices as well.
Along with that, Samsung is offering 2TB of Google Drive storage for free for six months on these devices. It comes as a part of the $19.99 per month Google One AI Premium plan. Once the trial/offer period is over, you will have to pay $19.99 monthly.
Google says that Gemini Advanced is “far more capable at logical reasoning, analysis, coding, and creative collaboration,” compared to Gemini so that “you can get more done, faster”
