Samsung is rolling out new One UI 8.5 beta updates to multiple devices today. Among those receiving the update is the Galaxy S25 FE, which has started getting One UI 8.5 Beta 3. This release brings several new Galaxy AI features and multiple bug fixes to the smartphone.
The latest One UI 8.5 beta update is currently rolling out to the Galaxy S25 FE in India and South Korea. In India, the update carries firmware version S731BXXU6ZZDD, while users in South Korea are receiving version S731NKSU6ZZDD. The update requires a download size of over 600MB.
This version introduces Call Screening, Creative Studio, an improved Audio Eraser, and a newer version of Photo Assist. Beyond these features, the update addresses a specific issue that caused the screen to wake up late during an incoming call. It also resolves malfunctions related to the proximity sensor, Bluetooth connectivity, and multi-touch input.
Samsung also fixed a notable bug where green lines would appear in 4K HDR videos recorded using certain third-party apps.
If you have a Galaxy S25 FE enrolled in the One UI 8.5 Beta Program, you can check for the update manually. To do so, navigate to Settings > Software update and tap Check for updates. Once the update is downloaded, select Install now to begin the process. Your device will restart automatically after a few minutes.
