However, we're now realizing that Samsung omitted information about at least one noticeable upgrade, not only at Unpacked but also in the press documents.
Here's something Samsung's press material and live streams didn't tell you: The Galaxy S24 series boasts improved speakers, so much so that we're wondering why the company doesn't mention anything about it anywhere.
Compared to the Galaxy S23, and especially the Galaxy S22 series, the new Galaxy S24's speakers are noticeably louder. More importantly, the upgraded speakers offer a fuller and wider sound, more bass, and possibly a better-optimized EQ curve.
The upgraded speakers on the Galaxy S24 series certainly are a nice and unexpected surprise. A few years ago, Samsung's phone speakers were some of the worst in the game, but the company has come a long way, and the Galaxy S24 sound fantastic.
These speakers, combined with the brighter 2600 nits screens, offer Galaxy S24 users a superior multimedia experience on the go. Granted, they won't replace headphones for music enthusiasts. Nevertheless, the improved speakers won't make you look bad if you share a video with someone on the Galaxy S24. And they're more than adequate for gaming without headphones.
If you want to buy the new Galaxy S24, remember that the pre-order window is almost closed. But if you pre-order now, before the end of January, you can benefit from free memory upgrades and other bonuses. Hit the “Pre-order” button below.
