Almost ten days ago, Samsung opened the Android 16-based One UI 8.0 Beta Program for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Well, it looks like the company may be planning to release second beta version of the new software for the three devices soon.
A new beta version of One UI 8 for the Galaxy S24 series has been spotted on Samsung’s server (via Tarun Vats). As you can see in the image below, it carries firmware version S928BXXU4ZYH9. It could arrive as the second beta version of One UI 8 for the three devices in the lineup.
At the moment, there’s no information about when the South Korean tech giant will drop the One UI 8 Beta 2 update for the Galaxy S24 series. Considering that it has been spotted on the brand’s server, the company may be planning to release it soon.
There’s also no information about what changes it will bring. We expect it to offer bug fixes, performance improvements, and new features. Hopefully, it will pack the updated version of Galaxy AI’s Audio Eraser, similar to One UI 8 Beta 6 for the Galaxy S25 series.
