Galaxy S24 gets One UI 8 Beta 2 update with Now Brief AI feature

After releasing the second One UI 8 beta update for the Galaxy Z Flip 6 earlier today, Samsung has released the One UI 8 Beta 2 update for the Galaxy S24 series. It is available in the UK and brings a new Galaxy AI feature that debuted with the Galaxy S25 series this year.

Galaxy S24 One UI 8 Beta 2 update released

The second One UI 8.0 beta update is now available (via @tarunvats33) for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and the Galaxy S24 Ultra in the UK. The update comes with firmware version S928BXXU4ZYHB and has a download size of around 930MB. It includes the September 2025 security patch that makes these phones more secure.

It brings Galaxy AI's Now Brief feature to the Galaxy S24 series. It displays information that is relevant to you throughout the day at that point in time. It can display your upcoming calendar events, your favorite music playlists from Spotify and YouTube Music, YouTube video recommendations, relevant Samsung Health statistics, weather alerts, and more.

Fixed the errors that apply basic fonts after changing fonts.

Fixed the issue where the screen stops and the lock screen is displayed while using the app.

Fixed clock widget time display error.

If you have enrolled your Galaxy S24 series device in the One UI 8 Beta Program, you can check for the new update by navigating to Settings » Software update » Download and install. Then, once the update is finished downloading, tap the Install now button. The phone will then restart after a few minutes.
