Galaxy S23 Ultra nighttime photo quality could receive a boost soon

The Galaxy S23 Ultra has an incredibly versatile camera setup, just like its predecessors. But while you generally get excellent pictures from the device (and from the other Galaxy S23 models), the experience hasn't been as perfect as one would like.

The Galaxy S23 series' camera experience has had a few issues, some of which have been fixed through updates released for the Samsung's latest flagship line since its launch a couple of months back, and Samsung is said to be working on more fixes that it will introduce through future updates, including the one that will launch this month.

And it seems this month's update could also boost the quality of nighttime pictures taken on the Galaxy S23 Ultra. That's according to leakster Ice universe, who claims to have seen a sample of a new Galaxy S23 Ultra firmware in development and says that “photos at night have also improved”.

Unfortunately, there's no mention of what kind of improvements we can expect. It also remains to be seen if nighttime photo quality will improve on the non-Ultra Galaxy S23 models. As for when this particular update will start rolling out, the firmware version mentioned suggests it will be sometime this month, with the update likely to also bring the May 2023 security patch to the Galaxy S23 series.
