The latest eligible Galaxy S flagship gets One UI 7 in the US.

One UI 7 is on a roll today in the United States. It's been released for the Galaxy Z Fold 4, Z Flip 4 and the Galaxy S22 series already in one day. Now the oldest Galaxy S series eligible for this update has finally received One UI 7.
Carriers in the United States have started rolling out the One UI 7 Android 15 update for the Galaxy S21 series. The firmware also includes the April 2025 security update.
Firmware version G991USQUEHYDA, G996USQUEHYDA, G998USQUEHYDA is now being rolled out for the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and the Galaxy S21 Ultra respectively. Leading carriers in the US have begun to roll it out so users should see the update notification arrive on their devices in the near future.
Even if you don't see the update notification on your device, it's easy to pull the update manually from the servers. Just launch the Settings app, go to the Software update menu and tap on the Download and install option. That should do the trick and the firmware will begin downloading automatically.
One UI 7 brings many new features to eligible Samsung devices. The company has also visually overhauled the software experience with a cleaner and more colorful look. There are new personalization features as well, including a wealth of new widgets, that give users more power to make their device feel truly their own.
