Galaxy S21 FE's April 2024 security update is now live in India

Samsung has started rolling out a new software update to the international variant of the Galaxy S21 FE in India, which has the model number SM-G990E. It changes the version of the firmware to G990EXXS8FXD1 and brings the April 2024 security patch, which fixes a total of 44 security issues. Samsung released the same software update to the international variant of the Galaxy S21 FE and the carrier-locked version of the device for the US a few days ago. Now, it has reached India. The company should release the latest security update to other variants of the device, including the carrier-unlocked version of the phone in the next few weeks.

Samsung has promised to offer the Galaxy S21 FE with OS upgrades for four years and security updates for five years.
