After unveiling the Galaxy S20 FE during a virtual launch event on September 23, Samsung has announced that it will launch the smartphone in South Korea next week. The new smartphone is priced at an affordable KRW 899,800 (around $770) in its home market.

Pre-orders for the Galaxy S20 FE will start in South Korea on October 6 and end on October 13. Customers who pre-order the device will start receiving it from October 13, while the device will hit store shelves starting October 16. The phone was launched globally on Friday, but Samsung decided to delay its launch in Korea due to the Chuseok fall harvest holiday. The phone will be available in five colors: Cloud Lavender, Cloud Mint, Cloud Navy, Cloud Red, and Cloud White.

The Galaxy S20 FE will be available through Samsung Digital Plaza, Samsung's online store, Coupang, and all the carriers in South Korea.

Galaxy S20 FE pre-orders come with various benefits

Customers who pre-order the Galaxy S20 FE can get either of these benefits: Galaxy Fit 2, UV Sterilizer with wireless charging, game controller with a 3-month subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, or customized skin. They can also use the Samsung Members app to get a four-month subscription to YouTube Premium, a free in-game gift in the Forza Street game, a one-month subscription to Libre.

Samsung is also offering a rewards program under which it is compensating twice the price of used smartphones in exchange for the Galaxy S20 FE. The user rewards program will be available until October 31.
