Samsung announced the Galaxy A15 earlier this month. The new phone is available for purchase in markets like Vietnam and will be coming to other markets, such as India, in the coming weeks.

Samsung is also working on rebranding the Galaxy A15 and selling it as part of the Galaxy M lineup, just like it did with the A15's predecessors. The Galaxy M15 is under development according to our friends over at GalaxyClub, and we're told that it will feature a 6,000 mAh battery.

That's 1,000 mAh more than the Galaxy A15, so like the Galaxy M14, the M15 will have a bigger battery than its A-series cousin. No other information on the phone's specs is available right now, but we can expect the rest of the hardware to match that of the Galaxy A15.

Galaxy M15's best feature could be four years of OS upgrades

The Galaxy A15 has a 6.5-inch 90Hz Super AMOLED display with 800 nits brightness, a MediaTek Helio G99 chip, 8GB of RAM with 128GB or 256GB of storage, a triple rear camera setup featuring a 50MP primary camera, a 5MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP depth sensor, and a 13MP front camera. It comes in both LTE and 5G variants, with the latter featuring the Dimensity 6100+, which is simply a Helio G99 with a 5G modem.

The A15 runs Android 14 and One UI 6 out of the box and is the cheapest Samsung phone that's eligible for four major OS upgrades. It's likely to be the case for the Galaxy M15 as well and could end up being its most attractive feature for budget-minded customers.

The Galaxy M14 hit retail shelves a couple of months after the Galaxy A14, so the Galaxy M15 could go official sometime in February, though that's just speculation right now. We'll let you know once we learn more about the upcoming M-series device, so stay tuned!
