The One UI 5.1 update for the Galaxy M13 5G comes with firmware version M136BXXU2CWB3. It also brings the February 2023 security patch that fixes dozens of security vulnerabilities. You can download and install the new update on your Galaxy M13 5G by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. You can also download the new firmware section and flash it manually.
The update improves many stock apps on the Galaxy M13 5G and brings new features. The Gallery app now offers an easy way to view and edit EXIF information of images and videos just by swiping them up. Search within the Gallery app has also gotten more powerful. You can search for more the one person or subject simultaneously. The photo remastering feature has also improved.
There is a new battery widget that displays the battery charge level of the Galaxy M13 5G and its connected wireless accessories. The Weather app displays most of the important information in the first fold. It also has a new Dynamic Weather widget for the home screen. The Modes & Routines app now has more conditions and options, including font style, Quick Share, ringtone, touch sensitivity, and wallpaper. The Settings app shows search suggestions.
You can also select a custom folder where you want all screenshots to be saved. The Smart Suggestions widget now displays recommended music and playlists from Spotify. The media output switch also displays Wi-Fi speakers, including the ones that support Spotify Connect and Chromecast.
Split-screen multitasking can be started using a two-finger swipe-up gesture. When using split-screen multitasking, Samsung phones displays frequently used apps first. You can drag the corners of an app's window to minimize it or make it full-screen.
