Galaxy Jump 3 gets Android 14 and One UI 6.0 update in Korea

The latest software update for the Galaxy Jump 3 brings Android 14 and One UI 6.0 to the phone. It comes with firmware version M446KKSS2BXC4 and has a relatively big download size. The update also brings the March 2024 security patch, bringing the phone up to speed with most other phones from Samsung in terms of security patches.

If you have a Galaxy Jump 3, you can now check for the Android 14 update on your phone. You can do that by opening the Settings app, navigating to Software update, and tapping Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.

What's new with Android 14 on Galaxy Jump 3?

You can watch all the One UI 6.0 features in action in our in-depth video below.

Some of the new features that you can see on the Galaxy Jump 3 include a new Quick Panel layout, a new media player widget (lock screen and notifications area), a new design language for emojis, and more lock screen clock widget font and positioning options.

You can quickly access the full Quick Panel layout by swiping from the top-right side of the screen. The notification icons have a vivid color tone and notifications can be sorted by time. Samsung has removed the terms ‘Samsung' and ‘Galaxy' from all its stock app labels. When you open the multitasking screen and come back, pop-up app windows stay open as they were.

You can use the new two-hand gestures to move multiple items and files from one place to another. This action is supported in Calendar, Gallery, My Files, Samsung Internet (for bookmarks), and most other system areas. The Share Sheet now shows a full preview of images that you are about to share with other people or apps.

Samsung Keyboard can store all the objects that you clip from images as stickers. You can draw on custom stickers and undo/redo edits unlimited times. The Weather app has new illustrations, more detailed information, additional weather information, and a new Weather Insights widget.

The layout of the Camera app has been simplified, and it is now even easier to access image and video resolution settings. It now has more watermarking options and alignments. The Galaxy Jump 3 also gets the Custom Camera widget that you can configure to quickly open the camera with specific settings.

The Gallery app has a new look for the Stories section. The built-in Photo Editor has larger dials for editing controls. It has new text and background styles The built-in Video Editor has been renamed to Samsung Studio, and it supports editing timelines and drafts. The built-in Video Player has enhanced controls and more playback speed options.

Samsung Health, Reminders, and Digital Wellbeing have improved layouts. Samsung Pass now supports passkeys, the Finder app can directly access app actions. The Airplane Mode is now smarter and remembers whether you want Bluetooth and Wi-Fi to be turned on/off when you activate Airplane Mode.

Samsung Internet now supports background playback of videos and has improved the layout for tabs. Samsung Wallet now supports adding government-issued IDs. It can also be used to store boarding passes and travel tickets.
