Samsung could soon launch an entry-level fitness tracker called the Galaxy Fit 4. It will succeed the Galaxy Fit 3, which launched two years ago, and is expected to feature a familiar design along with a newer version of Bluetooth.
The Galaxy Fit 4 carries the model number SM-R391 and recently received Federal Communications Commission (FCC) certification. Based on the documents associated with its FCC certification, the Galaxy Fit 4 will feature a rectangular screen similar to the Galaxy Fit 3. It has an optical heart rate monitor on the back, along with pogo-pin connectors and a quick-release mechanism for the band.

FCC documents also reveal that the Galaxy Fit 4 supports Bluetooth 5.4 with LE and EDR, an upgrade over the Galaxy Fit 3's Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity.

The upcoming wearable also has a single button on its right edge, similar to the Galaxy Fit 3. It remains to be seen what other improvements Samsung will bring with its next fitness tracker.
