The unannounced Galaxy F54 5G has been the subject of leaks for about a month now, and Samsung may bring this phone to India very soon. Some rumors indicate that Samsung may release this phone by the end of this week. Others say that The F54 will debut before the end of the month. But regardless of when it may go on sale, the Galaxy F54 5G might end up being the most expensive F-branded phone to date.

That is, at least according to one rumor that claims the Galaxy F54 5G, featuring 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, will go on sale in India for INR 35,999 ($437) — via @heyitsyogesh. Prices for other storage variants haven't been mentioned.

It is worth noting that previous rumors said the device could cost somewhere closer to INR 25,000 ($300), which would be more in line with the usual value of mid-tier Galaxy F devices. And for what it's worth, there should also be a 128GB variant of the Galaxy F54 5G, and it should cost less than INR 35,999. Even so, the Galaxy F54 might be the priciest F-branded phone so far.

Flipkart price cuts might come to the rescue

Even if the 256GB Galaxy F54 5G will be valued at close to $440, the phone should arrive in India through Flipkart. And if history is any indication, the device should not hit Flipkart's shelves for the usual Samsung MSRP. Early Galaxy F buyers usually benefit from discounts and all sorts of deals, so the Galaxy F54 5G may be advertised as having a price of INR 35,999 (again, for the 256GB model), but realistically, buyers might pay less for it.

Pricing aside, and beyond the rumored 8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of storage, the Galaxy F54 5G is also expected to feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, an Exynos 1380 chipset, and a 6,000mAh battery with 25W charging.

The Galaxy F54 could also feature a 108MP primary camera with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), an 8MP ultrawide shooter, and a 2MP macro lens. The selfie camera is expected to clock in at 32MP, and the phone will run Android 13 with One UI 5.1 on top.
