The Galaxy F04 will make its global debut in India tomorrow at 12:00 PM. The information was revealed by a teaser page of the device created by Flipkart. Along with the launch announcement, the teaser page also revealed key specifications, design, and starting price of the upcoming smartphone.

First things first, the Galaxy F04 will come with a starting price of under INR 8,000 (around $96), which will make it one of the most affordable smartphones on sale by Samsung in the country. Typically, Samsung sells F-series smartphones in India exclusively through Flipkart. The Galaxy F04 will be no different. It will be sold in the country exclusively through Flipkart.

    Galaxy F04 official specifications

The Galaxy F04 has the MediaTek Helio P35 SoC, which is much more powerful compared to some other entry-level Galaxy smartphones. As a previous leak had revealed, the base variant of the smartphone will have 8GB RAM with the RAM Plus feature. This feature utilizes a small part of the phone’s internal storage as virtual RAM to improve multitasking. This means that the actual RAM on the Galaxy F04 could either be 4GB or 6GB.

The display on the Galaxy F04 will be a 6.5-inch PLS LCD panel with HD+ resolution and a U-shaped notch. Samsung hasn’t revealed details about its cameras yet. However, since the Galaxy F04 will be a rebranded version of the Galaxy M04, and we already know its specifications. The Galaxy F04 could have a 13MP primary camera, a 2MP depth sensor, an LED flash at the rear, and a 5MP camera at the front.

The battery on this smartphone is a 5,000mAh unit. While the charging speed hasn’t been revealed yet, we expect it to be 15W as the Galaxy M04 also has the same charging speed. The Galaxy F04 will ship with Android 12 (One UI 4.1.1), and Samsung says that it will offer ‘2 Times OS Upgrade’ to the device, which means that it will get Android 13 (One UI 5.0) as well as Android 14 when it arrives later this year.
