Samsung officially began rolling out the One UI 8.5 update on May 6 following nearly six months of beta testing on the Galaxy S25 series and other devices. The company also confirmed that the update would begin expanding globally from May 11 in several regions.
As with any major One UI release, Samsung will deploy the update in phases. The rollout initially started in Korea for the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and the Galaxy S25 lineup, and availability will gradually expand to older flagship and mid-range devices over time.
As of May 6, Samsung hasn’t officially revealed the complete list of devices eligible for the One UI 8.5 update. However, the company has confirmed which devices will receive the update in the first rollout phase.
In the first phase, One UI 8.5 will roll out to the following smartphones and tablets:
