Samsung has released a new software update for its latest flagship truly wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds, the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro. The update is 8.55MB in size and carries firmware version R640XXU0AZD2 (via Galaxy Updates).
According to the changelog, it brings one change related to stability and reliability, and that is, it improves the device behaviour. As Samsung hasn’t said what exactly it changes, noticing the improvement may be harder.
From what we could gather, Samsung is rolling out the update globally. You can get it by opening the Galaxy Wearable app on your phone and going to Earbuds settings > Earbuds software update > Download and install.
On a related note, Samsung has released an update for the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro offering similar changes. You can read more about it here. If you own a Galaxy phone as well, you may want to check out if it is eligible for One UI 8.5.
